Northwoods’ human services solutions include comprehensive professional services that help you get the most from your Compass® products. Our staff includes former human services professionals, PMI-certified project managers, highly skilled technical and engineering staff, trainers, and support specialists. Together, we have hundreds of years of experience helping human services agencies determine the best solutions for them, and guiding them through the process.

We use industry-standard project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Our services begin Day 1, when we form the project team, discuss the project, and formulate a plan to achieve optimal results with minimal disruption to the agency's daily work. During discovery, we meet with your staff to examine business practices and determine the best solution for your agency's specific needs. We work with your staff to install, test, train, and roll out your new system. Then our support team maintains it and provides ongoing support.

 

 

 

Consulting Services

Our human services technology changes the way caseworkers work, and that’s not something you can get out of a box. Consulting is part of every project we do. We spend time with you to understand your agency’s specific processes and challenges before recommending a solution that will enable you to achieve maximum productivity across the organization. Agencies that simply want to leverage our expertise may choose to utilize our consulting services a la carte.


Implementation Services

Northwoods uses a shared implementation model that allows us to tailor the installation according to your agency’s specific needs, competencies, budget, and time constraints. Some agencies elect to have us assume all responsibility for training and rollout support. Others choose to share in those duties in order to reduce implementation costs. We’re flexible, and can structure this with you to meet your needs.


Training Services

Ensuring adoption of your new system is vital to your agency’s success. Northwoods has a dedicated team of professional trainers. We provide end user training to caseworkers, supervisors, front desk workers, and others who will be using Compass® software. Your IT staff receives professional technical training on the new system from our highly skilled technical trainers.


Support Services

Keeping your new system running at peak performance and troubleshooting users’ questions and issues is the job of the Northwoods Support Center (NSC). NSC team members sport a variety of professional certifications ranging from database configuration and maintenance to network and operating system administration. The NSC ensures that your agency will never be without the help and support you need with your new system.
