If you’ve visited us before, then you’re probably used to seeing the old design pictured.

So what’s wrong with the old site?  Nothing in particular, but we wanted to find a way to better reflect Northwoods, so we changed it.  Those changes are more than skin deep, however. We’re not just changing the look of our site; We’re also rethinking the content we provide on it.

You’re already looking at one of those changes by reading this blog post.  In the past we’d updated our site periodically with information about our products and services, but this time around we’re providing more consistent updates on not only what’s happening at Northwoods, but also Human Services at large.

Along with our blog you’ll also notice the ‘Connect with Us’ section at the bottom of the page.  Feel free to  use these to reach out to us on sites like Twitter.   Unfortunately, we often view a company purely as a conceptual business unit instead of what it really is- a group of people working together.  We think it’s important to remember that because we care a great deal about our customers, our customers’ customers, and our employees.  And if we didn’t care about people, we wouldn’t be in business.

We’ve also made updates to our careers page.  Now it’s much easier to apply for a position at Northwoods and we’re able to get in touch with you faster after you’ve expressed an interest in joining our team.

These are just a few of the changes we’ve made recently.  I could go on about a bunch of other things we’re improving, but that should do for now because speaking  (er, blogging) as one person to another, I know your time is valuable.
