Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced VB.NET developer who relishes the opportunity to participate in the design, development, and deployment of high impact imaging projects. In addition to having deep skills in VB.NET, VB6 and SQL, our ideal candidate will be one who has practical experience with Microsoft?s ?smart client? technology and web services. Prior experience with imaging capture software a plus.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for working with business analysts and field personnel to identify/refine requirements for new and existing products, implement those requirements in a team environment, and help deploy the products to our customers.
Qualified Candidates Requirements:

Coding experience in VB.NET, VB6, SQL

Position Responsibilities
- Relied upon by Project Managers to independently install and configure multiple Northwoods and/or imaging applications in large (200 user plus) customer sites.
- Often interacts with IT staff at large (metro) customer sites to advise on technical direction of the project, including integration with external applications, networks, and hardware.
- Coordinates the efforts of other Systems Engineers in support of existing customers and new installations.
- Manages other Systems Engineers in advanced installation and configuration of Northwoods and OnBase software modules.
- Performs advanced software configuration for multiple large customers and has broad knowledge of the extent that Northwoods and other products may be extended to meet various business scenarios at large customer installations.
- Is looked upon by many customers as the expert on all technology related to their project.
- Is called upon to solve extremely complex issues related to architecture, networks, hardware, etc.
- Is considered an expert by software development team, and suggestions for changes are almost always implemented.
- Suggestions for software changes are always well thought out, justified, and provide positive improvements to our software.
Position Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Valid Drivers
- License Must possess reliable transportation
- Must maintain full coverage auto insurance
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Must be available for travel 50% of the time
- Full functional ability to use computer and computer related equipment
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be capable of bending, lifting and working in tight spaces for extended periods of time
Minimum Competencies
- MCSE B.S. in MIS or CIS preferred
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to multi-task with excellent problem solving skills
- 3-5 years of experience
