West Virginia Bureau for Child Support Enforcement Chooses Northwoods

01.04.2010 -- The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Child Support Enforcement (BCSE) has begun a statewide project to implement Compass Software® from Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc., to provide efficiencies in document and client-flow management.

With over 450 employees and 53 locations statewide, the BCSE wanted to improve communications between its county and state offices, improve processing speed, and easily share documents between all offices. The BCSE also wanted to address the sometimes long lines and wait times experienced by clients in many of its offices. [Read the entire news release]

Over 70 Attend November's Compass University

11.23.2009 -- Directors, Supervisors, IT Managers, and others gathered at Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, OH, last November for the third Compass University. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to discuss hot topics in Human Services and network. Speakers included Vail Dutto (InTelegy), Jason Elchert (Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks), Tracy Carr (Franklin County DJFS), Molly Moriarty (Stark County DJFS), and others.
