Community

We believe that the desire to give and to help others exists in everyone and only needs some catalyst to turn from desire into action. Northwoods strives to be such a catalyst.

Northwoods provides exceptional service to our customers by learning their day-to-day challenges. We enjoy helping our customers, because we know it helps them help others. Volunteering is another way that Northwoods employees serve the communities in which we live and work. Northwoods asks all staff members to volunteer at least 20 hours each year - on company time - to help others.

Teamwork is extremely important to our organization and volunteering allows employees to work as a group outside of the normal work environment. For that reason, Northwoods also organizes team volunteer activities for employees. Northwoods employees are involved in groups who serve at mission pantries, volunteer at food-banks, help build houses for those in need, and much more.

Giving back to the community has always been and will always be a big part of the Northwoods culture.
