What We Heard: Insights from the CAS Webinar + What’s Coming Next

Less Admin, More Impact: Webinar Recap

Last week we hosted our webinar, Less Admin, More Impact: The Case Aide Services Advantage. We heard directly from frontline staff, agency leaders, and our own Case Aides about what “lightening the load” really looks like in practice. The message was clear: caseworkers aren’t short on passion—they’re short on time.

If you missed it live, here are some highlights from the conversation.

Caseworkers’ Biggest Challenge: Time

Paperwork, compliance, and administrative tasks continue to pile up, leaving little time for meaningful work with families.

As our host, Patrick Escolas, put it:

"Time. Or more accurately, the complete and total lack of it. Staff are buried under documentation, compliance tasks, and administrative work that eats up the hours they should be spending with families."

CAS in Action: Real Relief for Workers

Case Aide Services (CAS) was designed to step in where agencies need it most—taking on critical but routine tasks like records requests, referrals, and case documentation—so frontline staff can focus on families.

Our case aides reminded attendees that what makes CAS work isn’t just the tasks themselves, but the people behind them. As Bryn Coby, Case Aide Specialist, explained:

“Case Aide Services has real people with real experience to help. We’re committed to easing the workload because we understand the stress and pressures of the job.”

Impact You Can Measure

The real-world results agencies shared during the webinar highlight why CAS matters:

  • Jackson County, OH saw a 38% increase in home visits, giving staff confidence that tasks would move forward so they could focus on the families they serve.
  • Clinton County, OH shared that CAS is helping them achieve better permanency outcomes. As Sarah Downing, Case Management Administrator, explained:

“Over the last three months, we’ve decreased our kids in custody by 10. There are always many factors that go into reunification, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Case Aide Services has been a major factor in making that possible.”

These outcomes show the ripple effect of CAS: reducing stress, improving timeliness, and ultimately helping families find stability.

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, less admin really does mean more impact. CAS isn’t just about checking tasks off a list—it’s about keeping caseworkers in the field, helping families, and strengthening communities.
